During the same weekend, Dominique performed as piano soloist with University of San Diego Orchestra in two different concerts, and she won 2nd prize in Intermediate Winds and Honorable Mention with her piano trio in 裝潢Intermediate Ensemble categories at VOCE State Finals. Finally, Dominique won 1st place at the San Diego Symphony's 2009 Young Artist Competition (Hot Shots) for her flute performance. Her sister, Valerie was her accompanist for the finals audition at Copley Symphony Hall on May 3. Dominique will perform 酒店經紀Hue's Fantaisie with the San Diego Symphony on December-13.
